A Blast From The Past - Our Facility back in 1978
This is where Ad-Tech got it’s start back in 1978.
Originally located on 600 Union Street in Watertown, Ad-Tech Industries started out in a 23,400 Sq. Ft. building which included 6,534 Sq. Ft. of production and 16,866 Sq. Ft. of warehouse space.
The facility had two Hi-Volume, Low-Velocity water curtain paint booths, a 430 foot moving conveyor and Infra-Red ovens.
John Bessent - Ad-Tech's Founder
In the beginning John and his business partner Don started Ad-Tech with nothing more than an idea and the willingness to work as hard as necessary to succeed. Together they grew the business from the ground up. Several years later John bought out Don’s interest in the company.
Ad-Tech has always remained in the Watertown area, but did move the business location from their original location on Union Street to Votech Drive.
The company has experienced tremendous growth during its 40+ year in business and has expanded its Votech building 6 times to meet customer demands.
Today Ad-Tech employs nearly 150 local people from Watertown and surrounding areas. These dedicated professionals serve hundreds of customers by providing reliable, quality coatings at a fair price. Standards were instilled in the business by their founder back in 1978.
